WHETHER YOU’RE CONSIDERING MASSAGE SCHOOL, IN THE MIDDLE OF IT, OR LICENSED AND READY FOR MORE,
your next decision matters

I offer one-on-one mentoring to help you make informed, sustainable choices at every stage

A woman with long wavy brown hair and blue eyes is leaning against a white wall. She is wearing a black short-sleeved top and matching black pants, looking at the camera with a subtle smile.

Most people are introduced to massage therapy through the highlight reel of flexible hours, cozy rooms, helping people with self-care, and a career that looks like a fresh start.

Then you realize licensure rules are different in every state, and suddenly you’re nervous about debt, timing, choosing the wrong school, or wondering if this is even the right path.

You hit anatomy and your confidence takes a dive. You’re trying to study for the MBLEx and battling test anxiety, or maybe you failed the first time (spoiler alert: that’s very common and doesn’t mean you’re not a good therapist).

You get licensed and discover that being your own boss is less freedom and more “am I a misclassified 1099 contractor?” or “how do I transfer my massage license to another state that requires more hours?” and you’re wondering what to do next.

If any of that felt a little too specific, this is exactly why I do what I do.

I’M NOT HERE TO CONVINCE YOU TO ENROLL, QUIT, OR OPEN A BUSINESS. I’M HERE TO MAKE SURE WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE TO DO NEXT, YOU DO IT WITH A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING.

This saves you time, money, and a lot of unnecessary stress (or regret) later. We’ll talk through where you are and what you actually want without romanticizing the process or scaring you out of it.

I don’t have all the answers. You do. I’m here with the right questions to help you choose your path forward.

IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING MASSAGE SCHOOL

Before you spend a dime, let’s get honest.

If you’re considering school in one state but plan to practice somewhere else, we need to talk licensure and transfer rules, because “I’ll figure it out later” can turn into extra hours, additional money, and unnecessary delays.

If you’re burned out and hoping massage will magically fix that without changing anything else, we should look at that with compassion and realism. If you’re starting a family, planning a move, supporting a family, or already stretched thin, we’ll consider if now is the right time.

In our call, we’ll talk through your state requirements, your budget, your timeline, what your ROI can look like in this field, and what you actually want your day-to-day life to look like to make sure you’re making the best choice for yourself.

IF YOU’RE CURRENTLY
IN SCHOOL

If anatomy feels ‘impossible’ to learn or test anxiety has you questioning everything, that doesn’t mean you chose wrong.

Many massage students don’t thrive in traditional classrooms. I didn’t either, but everything clicked when I realized I learn best by watching and listening in class, not by reading textbooks.

We’ll figure out how you learn best, build a study approach that actually sticks, work on test prep and exam strategy, and help you feel better about your school experience. And if peer dynamics or instructor tension are draining your energy, we’ll talk through that too.

FOR LICENSED THERAPISTS WHO WANT MORE

If you’re looking to open your own clinic or start a mobile practice, you’ve probably realized that being a great therapist and running a sustainable business are two different skill sets.

If you’re debating LLC versus sole proprietor, unsure about 1099 versus W2, thinking about going mobile, or stuck on pricing because you know you're worth more but you worry about losing clients if you raise your prices, we’ll sort it out.

And yes, we will write policies before you ever need them. Because you can’t enforce a policy that doesn’t exist, and waiting until a client crosses a line is a terrible time to invent your boundaries.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A MENTORING CALL?

This is a focused, 90-minute 1:1 conversation about your current situation and goals. Bring your questions, doubts, half-formed ideas, and real-life circumstances.

I’ll bring my lived experience as a student, therapist, teacher, and director — and the perspective to help you uncover what you might be missing and choose your path forward.

Before the call, you’ll complete a short questionnaire so we can dive right into what matters most to you. After the session, you’ll receive a follow-up email summarizing your clarity map to keep your plan actionable. This is for people who want the real version, not the romanticized one, so you can leave knowing exactly what makes sense for you.
